What this site collects
When you visit suman.one, the site records the page you’re on, the page you arrived from (referrer), your approximate city and region, your device type, and how long you stay — derived from your hosting provider’s network location, never GPS or precise location. This is tied to a temporary identifier stored in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared automatically when you close the tab. It is not a persistent tracking cookie and cannot identify you across visits or across other websites.
Why it’s collected
This data is used to understand real-time interest in the site — for example, to notify Suman when a visit shows signs of genuine interest (a long visit, or engaging with the contact form) — and to keep the site fast and reliable. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for cross-site advertising.
Contact form
If you submit the contact form, your name, email, subject, and message are sent directly to Suman’s inbox to respond to your inquiry. They are not added to any marketing list and are not used for any purpose beyond replying to you.
Cookies
This site does not set persistent advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie in use is a strictly functional, httpOnly session cookie for the site owner’s own admin login — it is not set for, or readable by, regular visitors.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you can ask what data is held about a given visit and request its deletion. Since visits are identified only by a temporary, non-identifying session id, most requests can only be actioned if you can describe the visit (approximate time and page).
